Data freshness and delay
Why TokenLume market and on-chain data can lag, how refresh jobs work, and what badges mean.
Why data can lag
- Provider APIs update on their own schedules and rate limits
- TokenLume workers poll and persist on job intervals (minutes-scale for many jobs)
- Market snapshots and chain queries are not always updated in the same tick
- Caches and last-good snapshots keep the UI usable during partial outages
UI freshness badges reflect sync metadata where exposed. Treat “live” in a marketing sense as “as fresh as the last successful sync,” not sub-second trading latency.

Because alerts match stored signals and snapshots, notification timing depends on ingestion + matcher jobs. See Alerts.
